Pacific Medical Buildings (PMB) is pleased to announce its continued relationship with Palomar Health with the start of two construction projects this year in the northern San Diego County health care district.
The facility will house an urgent care center and medical offices for Arch Health Partners, a multi-specialty medical group closely associated with Palomar Health. In 2011, Arch Health Partners was named by Integrated Healthcare Association as one of the top-performing physician organizations in California for the second consecutive year.
“The Ramona Ambulatory Care Center represents Palomar Health District’s commitment to provide care to the underserved residents within its boundaries,” says Jim Rohan, PMB’s Senior Vice President for Development.
PMB is also developing a 115 foot pedestrian bridge that will link the five-story, 172,000-square-foot Pomerado Outpatient Pavilion and the connected 1,170-space parking structure to Pomerado Hospital in Poway, in the southern part of the district. Palomar Health will lease the pedestrian bridge from PMB on a long-term basis. The medical office building, which is owned, leased and managed by PMB and its institutional partner, opened in 2007.
“The pedestrian bridge will provide patients and visitors convenient access to the hospital, the Outpatient Pavilion and the parking structure,” says Mr. Rohan.
