GILBERT, Ariz., January, 2007 – Pacific Medical Buildings (PMB), has partnered with Mercy Gilbert Medical Center, a not-for-profit acute care hospital in a suburb of Phoenix on a new on-campus MOB. The San Diego-based healthcare real estate developer has completed the development of the new three-story, 65,000 square foot medical office building called the Mercy Gilbert Medical Plaza.
Located at 3420 South Mercy Road in Gilbert, Ariz., the new facility was designed to complement the unique architectural style of the hospital. The Mercy Gilbert Medical Center which also opened January 1, 2007, is part of a major campus development with 60 acres designated for the new acute care hospital and 40 acres for complementary healthcare services.
The hospital is part of Catholic Healthcare West (CHW) which is a 41-facility not-for-profit hospital provider, and is the eighth largest provider of its kind in the nation.

The hospital has leased space for various suites in the building, and the facility also houses the Center of Orthopedic Excellence and Cardiovascular and Stem Cell Consultants.
